Cazalet family papers: David Keir: correspondence and papers

David Keir (1906-1969) married Thelma Cazalet in 1939, when he was lobby correspondent for the News Chronicle. He had stood as a Liberal candidate in the 1929 Midlothian and Peebles Northern by-election, and again in the 1929 General Election; as the Liberal candidate for Roxburgh and Selkirk in 1931, and again as an Independent Liberal candidate in the East Fife by-election of 1933. He had a career as a journalist and author.
