Elizabeth, Countess Watersleban, was born in Cracow, Prussia in 1764. Her second husband was John Whitehouse, Rector of Orlingbury until 1807 and sometime chaplain to H.R.H the Duke of York.
12 November 1813
Addressed to "Dr Brown, Margaretta Farm near Lynn". Hopes her friend will feel better at Eton. Intends to take up her apartments in Hampton Court in Spring. Expects her son, who has a promotion in the army, to arrive in a month. Hopes Brown will visit. Never hears from Berlin. Written from Orlingbury.
