By the endowment of 25 March 1441 the college was granted a farm and rent of 100s which John Iwardeby and Joan Lynde, late the wife of William Lynda, deceased, pay yearly for the custody of the portion of the alien prioress of Claro Rivolo (Clairruissel by Galllefontaine, in Normandy) in the church of Mapelderham alias Mapildram, co. Oxford, with the fruits, proceeds, profits and emoluments belonging to the same portion which had been committed to them by the crown, to be held from Michaelmas 1436 for 16 years next following to be fully completed with the reversion of the same to the college when it should befal. The grant was confirmed by Edward IV on 24 February 1462.
